new feathers.
Guess what i got...
yep. feathers. i ordered them from www.hairfeathers.com and there are about six in my hair right now. an olive-y/yellow one, a red one, a striped one, a white one, a brown one, and my favorite.. the green one. The yellow one was ordered from an olive pack, the green and the striped one are from the olive grizzly pack, and the red, white, and brown ones were from the professional pack. my sisters and i stocked up and split the packages and costs to buy more now.
so, what do you think?

glitter nails.
What I Used
-China Glaze in Life Preserver
-Seche Vite Clear Coat
-Sally Girl glitter in Gold
What I Did
-Paint all nails except ring finger in Life Preserver, two coats.
-While those nails are still wet, sprinkly a little glitter onto them, enough to make them sparkle just a littleeee bit.
-Apply top coat on all nails, including ring finger.
-While the top coat is still wet on the ring finger, cover it in a thick coat of the gold glitter.
-Apply a final coat of top coat, and you're done!

happy friday.
So, it's another busy week here, but I have today off school. (thank you, snow.) All I've really been doing all day involve baking.. mmm, chocolate chip cookies, looking up hair and make up tutorials and attempting them. Here are some of the things I found, tried, liked, and will be using for our game tonight-
The Look.
What you need:
EYES
-natural eye shadows (I used a cream colored base, dark brownish-grey in the crease, and gold on the lid)
-black eyeliner (I combined the e.l.f black liquid liner and black e.l.f. cream liner)
-lots of black mascara (I used two different types. One that volumizes and another that lengthens lashes)
LIPS
-lip liner (Any shade that matches your color)
-a high gloss deep pinky-purple-ish
FACE
-Conceal any blemishes
-Use your foundation
-Use a peach blush on the apples of your cheeks
-Finish it off with bronzer and a translucent powder
That's it. simple and cute. Have a nice day.

happy new year.
hiii everyone. i'm back. it's a new year. time to rethink 2011 and change what you want. here are my thoughts on the new year.
what i'm up to.
I continue to stay busy with school. As the year goes on, the material gets tougher. Just waiting until summer.
Cheer will keep my busy until about February or March-ish. I think. We've just begun winter competition season.
Braces. yep. two more years. ouch.. I'll just have to learn to be patient throughout the process.
what i'm listening to.
pandora radio is my hero. just switch it to my "the cab" playlist. ahhh. amazing. anybody else know who i'm talking about? love♥
what i'm thinking about.
schoolwork. cheer. friends. girls that i used to be close with. oh, how people can change so much. my mind is a mess right now. oh, and new years resolutions...
speaking on which, onto my favorite new topic.. resolutions!
so, today at lunch my friends and i were sharing our new years resolutions. one of my friends came up with a great idea. we had been talking about how we feel if someone really wanted to change something they shouldn't have to wait until the new year. i know, i get it. new year, fresh start. yeah, wellllll.... she came up with "new month resolutions" which i love the idea of. so, my new years resolution is to follow through with these new month resolutions. i'm very excited for it. but i still resolve to become a better blogger (uhmmm, post more often. yeah, sorry, busy as usual) and get into better shape. which brings me to my next topic
my mother and my new plan.
my mom is always looking for ways to get me into better shape. i'm so lazy sometimes, and she's really been looking out for me to avoid eating disorders, but still look good. (i think she's tired of my complaining about jeans.....) anyways, she came up with a great idea. A weight/fitness goal that involves bribery with clothes- a major weakness of mine. Here are the details:
First five pounds we lose... a scarf.
Next five... jeans.
And so on, until we meet a healthy weight for the both of us.
Now, since our main concern is getting into better shape, with each of these five pounds, a fitness goal has to be achieved and we have to be eating better foods, and less snacking- another weakness for me.
This has been going pretty well for me, and i hope to be getting that scarf very soon (:
new month resolution.
now, i'll wrap up this post with my new month resolution for january.
-continue with the above mentioned plan
-be more of a positive person
-post more often!
-eat breakfast.
that's all.

here's to the christmas season.
I love Christmas. The whole season is lots of fun, and it helps that I love winter also! To help get you all in the spirit (if you aren't already), here are some of my favorite things about the holiday...
decorations.
Lights, trees, sparkles, red, gold, green, everything! We have a huge supply of decorations at my house and put them up every year. Here are some of the things we put up every year...
thanks to my little sister for the last three pictures (:
hot chocolate.
snow.
I realize how cold it is, but everything's just so pretty covered in a blanket of the glittering white flakes.

family time.
For some reason, my family seems to get along a little more around the holidays, and I enjoy spending time with them.
holiday baking. ♥
And finally, my favorite thing to do during break: baking. We make tons of stuff, including the traditional Christmas cookies, caramels, shortbread, monster cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, buckeyes, caramel delights, white chocolate Chex mix, and other things we stumble upon that sound good for the holidays. Tupperware, tins, trays, and bowls full of unhealthy things that taste so delicious. There's one time of the year that all of these things are made at one time, and it's so much fun. I love baking, so it's just a great time to make memories with my mother and sisters in the kitchen.
These are some of my favorite things about the holidays. What about you? Comment, follow, or leave suggestions. Thanks for reading!
Have a great holiday season.
XOXO, liv.
